Greetings from Australia. I grew up in a little township in surroundings of beach, hills and country and have lived on a Beach Front not far from the City.
Hi Folks, Nice to have You here. I hand a lot of Cards to this Website to people I have Micro Conversations with when Shopping in Supermarkets etc I Enjoy Socializing:)
So “Hi There” if you’re one of those. “It was Nice to Cross paths. Like I said to you, I’m Very Super Fussy when Selecting Videos, so you’re in for a Treat”
Same to You All who have Come for a Visit. I trust Everyone Enjoys! I kinda think you will because I get a lot of personal Feedback Responses from Supermarket Attendants, Bank Worker’s, Nursing Staff last year, and pretty much a number of places I go. I see many smiley faces and joyful responses – some excited –
that’s for sure.
Hence these days, I don’t like for anyone to miss out because people – and their Kids – Enjoy these Videos So Much. There are 100+ of them now. Mostly 3-8 Minute Ones so you can see a Variety of them. Hey?
A lot of people notice I’m in my 70s and say to themselves something like “What’s a lady this Age doing running Websites?” They’re interested to know, so they ask me, and I say “I made my first one when I was 60” and they exclaim “Wow, how did you do that?” and I reply ” I’m not a Religious Churchy person but I do believe in Jesus. My Story goes like this……………….”
Most of these people don’t mind that and often like to hear more. Some say
“I agree, those are my Sentiments – Exactly” and they ask me to continue:)
So without Any ulterior motives or strings attached, here is an abbreviated version of My Story:
I had been engaged in part-time Natural Health Research many years and have a passion for that,
finding it Very Interesting – there’s always something New to Discover, you know?
One day I was standing at my Kitchen Counter and a thought came to me about making a Website
and I said “Oh, Yes – that’s a good idea, think I will do that!“
2 months of frustration followed because I was trying to find somewhere that had a short course just for Websites I could attend as a Mature Age Student. To keep this Story short, I got nowhere with that.
Then a Nephew In-Law said he’s now a Webhost with a Small Business and he could help me out.
Then he proceeded to tell me he could give me a Free Website that has a Website Builder with it that’s Very Easy to use. Very Basic. But when He tried to show me. I couldn’t do anything, understood absolutely nothing and thanked him for trying to help me, saying “to you it is very basic and for me it’s out of the question. Sorry. You’re so busy with lots to do. I won’t waste your time.”
Straight after that, I said to myself in disgust “Forget it Janet, that Website stuff is Not for You!”
and went back to my Research I Enjoyed. Phew!
Following that, 3 days later when walking in my house to a different room, I discovered the Desire to make a Website came back to me and it was a “Pleasant Desire” …… “Astonished by that I exclaimed to myself “This Desire must be pretty Strong to survive all that frustration. What is this?”
Just that Minute, I realised something and said “oh, I think this is You Jesus – this has something to do with You” and following that I added “If this Desire comes from you, there would be a Purpose for it.” So I gave that completely over to Him, knowing He will have a Way and a Time for it” and left it with Him.
Two weeks later a Webhosting Company came my way through an Unsolicited Email. I Never had Any of those but I had one from them. There was a Website Package Offer in it for a very good price and they come with a “Site Builder” and I said “Site Builder? Help No!” I had no such intentions and closed the Email. I had a Visitor just then, Enjoyed the afternoon and that evening Jesus reminded me of my Words to Him, two weeks previous.
So first thing in the morning, I went to my computer and opened the Email I hadn’t deleted. Then I purchased a Package in Simple Faith and while sitting there I remembered something, saying “Jesus, You made a Good Driver of me years ago when Learning was Out of the Question. I’m going to ask You to show me how to do this – Now”
and within minutes (believe it or not) it started to come easily to me by Guesswork.
Looking back, that was a more Sophisticated Website Builder actually, but I said in my thoughts
He is Capable to show me. I had a 4 – 5 Page Website Published in a few hours and my Story went on from there!
So for those who were “Interested to Know” there’s the Story about how this Girl runs several Websites because things led on from there. I’m equally passionate about making Websites as I am about Research and Consider Peace and Happiness are just as Important to someone’s Health as Nutritious Foods and Exercise like Walking. This helped me personally in 2012. So for me, I know that’s true!
I Love Nature! Do You?
Personally, I cannot subscribe to Atheistic Theories, there is such overwhelming Evidence of Our Wonderful Creator in NATURE.
Then there is our Human Body with so many Intricate Parts that all work together like an Orchestra.
Our Brain has such a vast reserve that could be likened to a computer but is a Living Organism.
To me, it is degrading to say that we came from a Mud Puddle, or an Ape, or a Big Bang.
There is honor in appreciating our Creator. It definitely affords dignity
the 3 Atheistic Theories do not offer us.
In my opinion, those who impose such beliefs are being just as religious as Religious People, insomuch as they seek to impose a Belief System. Also, it is sad to believe in The Universe, when we can’t see a Heaven beyond that, and to me, it is Impersonal to believe that God is a Power, not a Person. However People often do opt out of religious views because Churchy Affiliations don’t satisfy. I could say more. That is not the purpose of this Website.
For your interest, I am not a religious churchy person but have a close Walk with Jesus, and do appreciate His Words, when they are not misconstrued. Words like “loving Him will all our hearts (like we do our loved ones) and treating others as we wish to be treated“………….. whatever happened to consideration and taking a genuine interest in others etc? Things like Assurance and Wisdom and Confidence? Sorry to say,
I don’t see these godly attributes reflected in what most of Church Attendance and lifestyle represents.
Hypocrisy Today is not too dissimilar to that which Jesus confronted to people’s faces 2,000 years ago.
So on those grounds, I’d rather take my Walk more seriously AND Enjoy Jesus.
